**Job Summary**:
As a Kitchen Staff member at Elite Hotel, Khandala, you will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, and support the culinary team in delivering high-quality dining experiences to guests. You are expected to follow kitchen protocols, food safety standards, and uphold the reputation of Elite Hotel through professional and consistent performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist chefs in basic food preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, prepping meats, making sauces).
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen areas including storage, prep zones, and workstations.
- Wash utensils, cookware, and equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Ensure kitchen supplies are well-stocked and properly organized.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines as per hotel standards.
- Help in plating, garnishing, and delivering dishes as directed by chefs.
- Report any maintenance or inventory issues to the Kitchen Supervisor.
- Dispose of waste properly and support eco-friendly kitchen practices.
- Cooperate with team members and maintain a professional attitude under pressure.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience in kitchen or food service is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, safety, and handling of food.
- Ability to work long hours in a fast-paced, high-heat environment.
- Physically fit; able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Punctual, reliable, and willing to learn.
**Working Conditions**:
- Shift-based role; may include weekends, public holidays, and evening hours.
- Work environment includes exposure to heat, moisture, and kitchen noise.
- Uniform and grooming standards as per hotel policy must be followed.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Food Handling or Hygiene Certificate (optional but beneficial).
- Familiarity with basic Indian and Continental kitchen operations.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
