**Position Overview**:
The Kitchen Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen and ensuring the preparation of high-quality food in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting in food preparation. The Kitchen Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining the kitchen's smooth operation while supporting the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in menu planning, ordering supplies, and staff training.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Staff Supervision & Leadership**:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and dishwashers.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to kitchen standards, safety protocols, and food preparation techniques.
- Assist with scheduling and ensuring adequate staff coverage during peak hours.
- Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team works efficiently.

**2. Food Preparation & Quality Control**:

- Oversee the preparation and cooking of food to ensure consistency, quality, and portion control.
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of meals during busy periods, as needed.
- Ensure proper presentation of dishes before they leave the kitchen.

**3. Kitchen Organization & Cleanliness**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including all workstations, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure that all food preparation areas comply with sanitation and health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain proper stock levels.

**4. Safety & Food Hygiene**:

- Enforce strict food safety and hygiene standards, including proper food storage, handling, and waste disposal.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are adhered to.
- Ensure that kitchen staff follows safe working practices to prevent accidents or injuries.

**Skills & Qualifications**:
**1. Experience**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.

**2. Skills**:

- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

**3. Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 pounds.
- Ability to work in a hot, noisy, and fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
