We are looking for a chef to join our team and prepare lip-smacking dishes for our customers. The primary responsibilities include studying recipes, setting up menus and preparing first-class dishes. If you have experience with great and advanced cooking techniques, we would like to meet you Ultimately, the chef will be responsible for preparing and delivering a complete menu to our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Be familiar with sanitation regulations
- Setting up of the kitchen with cooking utensils, equipment, cutlery etc
- Cook food in a timely manner
- Assign tasks to kitchen staffs
- Ensure the safety and hygiene of the kitchen
- Supervise cooks and offer assistance whenever needed
- Experiment with new recipes
- Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations
- Modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (e.g. reduce salt, remove dairy)
**Requirements**:
- Proven work experience as a chef or cook
- Good communication skills
- Great time management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to do multi-tasking
- Leadership skills
- Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques
- Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes
