**Job Title: Junior Sous Chef**

**Location: Sakinaka and Turbhe Central Kitchen, Navi Mumbai**
**Years of experience: 5-6 years**

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist the **Head Chef** in daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and quality in food preparation.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain high standards.
- Ensure **food safety and hygiene** regulations are strictly followed.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including stock control and ordering supplies.
- Assist in menu planning, costing, and innovation of new dishes.
- Maintain a **clean and organized kitchen** at all times.
- Monitor kitchen efficiency, minimizing waste and optimizing productivity.
- Step in and lead the kitchen in the **Head Chef’s absence**.

**Requirements**:

- **5-6 years of professional kitchen experience**, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, or catering environment.
- Strong culinary skills with expertise in various cooking techniques.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of **food safety standards (HACCP)**.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Creativity in menu development and presentation.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- **Flexible schedule**, rotational off.
