**Assists the Head Chef**: The Sous Chef is the Head Chef's right-hand person, supporting them in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- **Supervises and Leads**: Oversees the kitchen staff, ensuring they are working efficiently and meeting the restaurant's standards. This includes training, motivating, and sometimes disciplining the team.
- **Food Preparation**: While they may not be cooking every dish, the Sous Chef is a skilled cook who can step in and prepare meals, especially during peak hours or in the Head Chef's absence.
- **Quality Control**: Ensures that all dishes are prepared according to the restaurant's recipes and standards, paying close attention to taste, presentation, and consistency.
- **Inventory Management**: Helps manage inventory, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- **Kitchen Organization**: Maintains a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that health and safety regulations are followed.
- **Menu Development**: May contribute to menu planning and recipe development, bringing their own culinary expertise to the table.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹32,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
