**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry Chef to join our team as an Instructor. The Pastry Chef Instructor will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive pastry arts education to our students. This role involves curriculum delivery, practical instruction, student assessment, and contributing to the overall success of our pastry programs.
**Responsibilities**:
- **Instruction and Curriculum Delivery**:
- Deliver practical and theoretical pastry arts instruction based on the institute's curriculum.
- Conduct hands-on workshops and demonstrations covering a wide range of pastry techniques, including but not limited to: basic doughs, cakes, creams, custards, chocolates, plated desserts, and advanced techniques.
- Prepare and organize all necessary ingredients and equipment for classes.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic learning environment in the kitchen.
- **Student Guidance and Assessment**:
- Provide individual guidance and support to students to facilitate their learning.
- Assess student performance through practical evaluations, written tests, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- **Curriculum Development and Maintenance**:
- Contribute to the review and updating of the pastry arts curriculum to ensure its relevance to industry standards.
- Assist in the development of new pastry courses and workshops.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in the pastry world.
- **Institute Support**:
- Participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities.
- Assist with institute events, workshops, and demonstrations as needed.
- Maintain the pastry kitchen and equipment in good working order.
- Potentially assist with inventory management of pastry ingredients and supplies.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a professional kitchen (e.g., hotels, bakeries, restaurants).
- Strong practical skills and a comprehensive knowledge of pastry techniques.
- Prior teaching or training experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A relevant culinary degree or diploma is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
