**Key Responsibilities**:
**Food Preparation**: Assist in preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, marinating meat, and other prep work.
**Cooking**: Help cook dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring food is cooked to the right standard.
**Maintaining Hygiene**: Ensure that kitchen tools, utensils, and workstations are kept clean and sanitized according to food safety standards.
**Assisting Senior Chefs**: Take direction from senior chefs and support with more complex cooking tasks as needed.
**Station Management**: Work at different sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or cold prep, rotating through different stations to gain experience.
**Stock Control**: Help with stock management, including checking and storing deliveries, and ensuring proper storage of food to minimize waste.
**Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen during service.
