**Recruitment and admission Officer (Part-Time)**
**Purpose of the job**:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Recruitment & Admissions Office The post-holder will be member of a team of admissions professionals with responsibility for the recruitment and admissions of students. S/he will be working closely with academic staff across the campus and will be liaising with schools, colleges and directly with applicants. S/he will also be expected to participate in recruitment activities such as Open Days and Higher Education conventions, and to support other Registry activities in a professional and flexible manner. This varied role requires the exercise of independent judgement and initiative, strong administrative and excellent interpersonal skills.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
4. Enter decisions and generate offers using the University Student Record system and other databases with the aim of 100% accuracy.
5. Monitor the responses of applicants to decisions and provide data to Faculties and Departments on applicant status and workflow.
6. Check and verify the fee classification of applicants.
8. Ensure that correct procedures are followed when dealing with international students requiring visas in accordance with the new UKBA points based system for immigration. - Liaise regularly with both academic and administrative staff.
10. Assist with the production and distribution of publicity materials and updating of web
12. Participates in the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials.
13. Miscellaneous duties, you will be assisting the operation manager and the directors in Midlands College of Commerce Limited as per the business requirements.
14. You are also required to do different administrative jobs as per the requirement of the business.
15. Making cold calls to convert potential student.
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required**
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
- Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short
- and long-range goals.
- Knowledge of student recruitment and retention issues.
- Ability to plan, assess, and evaluate programs.
- Ability to analyze course prerequisites, certification, and/or curriculum/graduation requirements.
- Organizing and coordinating skills.
- Skill in the configuration and use of computerized database programs.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
