What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced and visionary P artnerships Lead - Offline Payments to drive the growth and strategic expansion of our Offline Payments business. In this high-impact leadership role, you will be responsible for acquiring new brands and merchants across India, expanding our product portfolio ( including POS machines, swiping machines, and EDC machines) , and increasing market reach within the retail MSME ,Mid Market and other business sectors . You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, revenue-driving strategies, while leading a high-performing team to exceed business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the growth of the Offline Payments business by acquiring new clients, developing key partnerships, and leveraging local networks to generate high-quality leads and close business deals in the retail and business segments (including malls, stores, retail shops, food outlets, and MSMEs).
Build and nurture long-term, impactful relationships with brands across MSMEs , B2B clients , and emerging sectors in India. Identify and unlock new business opportunities with key stakeholders in industries utilizing POS, swiping machines, and QR code payments .
Design and execute end-to-end sales strategies, including pipeline management, accurate forecasting, pitch decks, and product demos for offline payment solutions . Ensure the sales process is streamlined, scalable, and aligned with business objectives.
Lead the creation and execution of the annual business development plan, ensuring all revenue and growth targets for offline payment products are met or exceeded.
Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing business development team, including field sales executives, sales managers, and city managers. Drive team performance to achieve the company’s sales and growth goals.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry shifts in the offline payments space. Provide actionable insights and create strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Own the P&L for the Offline Payments business. Regularly assess portfolio performance and take proactive measures to ensure profitable growth
Work closely with internal teams to drive lead generation and conversion for POS machines, swiping machines , and QR code-based solutions , optimizing processes to ensure high performance and consistency in sales efforts.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
At least 5 years of experience in the BFSI, direct sales, or B2B sectors , particularly with POS machines, swiping machines, EDC devices, and QR code payment solutions. Hands-on experience with offline payment products is a significant advantage. Your total career span should be 11 ro 15 years, with proven expertise in managing business systems and processes
Demonstrated experience in working with MSMEs , retailers , and midmarket segments . You have tailored solutions to their unique needs and driven growth in these verticals by offering offline payment solutions.
A proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, including managing field sales executives , sales managers , and city managers . Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building capabilities are essential.
Deep understanding of the offline payments ecosystem, particularly POS systems , swiping devices , and QR-based payments for retail and business clients.
Highly self-motivated, goal-driven, and results-oriented. Strong organizational skills and a strategic mindset to drive impactful outcomes in offline payment sales.
Ability to take initiative, solve complex problems, and think innovatively to drive business growth, especially in the offline payments landscape.
Familiarity with tools and platforms such as Zendesk , GSuite , Jira , and CRM systems . Able to leverage these tools to improve productivity and optimize sales processes.
Strong analytical skills to identify market trends and emerging challenges. Proven ability to turn data into actionable insights that inform strategy and decision-making
Experience in building and scaling teams from the ground up, particularly in high-growth environments, and managing large-scale field teams in the offline payments sector
