Job Title : Manufacturing Presales Consultant - Epicor ERP

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Demonstrations :

  • Conduct tailored demonstrations of ERP solutions to prospective clients, highlighting features relevant to manufacturing processes such as production planning, supply chain management, inventory control, and quality management.
  • Showcase the value proposition of the ERP system for optimising manufacturing operations.

Requirement Gathering & Analysis :

  • Collaborate with potential clients to understand their business processes, pain points, and ERP requirements.
  • Analyze client-specific manufacturing workflows and map them to ERP functionalities.

Consultative Selling :

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights into industry best practices and ERP-enabled solutions for manufacturing challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for add-on modules or services to enhance customer value.

Stakeholder Engagement :

  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in client organisations.
  • Work closely with sales, implementation, and product development teams to ensure alignment on customer needs.

Proof of Concept (POC) :

  • Design and execute POCs or pilot projects to validate the ERP solution's effectiveness in addressing client requirements.

Support Sales Cycle :

  • Assist in responding to RFPs/RFIs (Requests for Proposal/Information) by providing detailed and accurate technical inputs.
  • Support the sales team during customer negotiations and finalising contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. Candidates from Aerospace & Defense education backgrounds will be given preference.

Experience :

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, ERP consulting, or presales roles.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes like MRP (Material Requirements Planning), production scheduling, shop floor management, and lean manufacturing.

Soft Skills :

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused mindset.

Additional Competencies:

  • Experience with digital manufacturing technologies like IoT, MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), or Industry 4.0 tools is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based ERP solutions is highly desirable.
