
Sales Territory Business Expansion Manager

This profile will be responsible for driving business expansion in assigned territories through strategic sales initiatives and channel development, resulting in revenue growth while expanding the business. The goal is to achieve sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and building strong relationships with existing merchants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage sales distribution channels across assigned territories.
- Establish and maintain relationships with current and potential merchants to foster sales growth.
- Drive merchant acquisition and servicing within an assigned geographical area through a dedicated team.
- Train key merchants on payment solutions and present products.
- Monitor competition and share insights with the leadership team.
- Ensure brand visibility in assigned territories.
Requirements:
- A degree or MBA with a good academic record.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Hands-on experience with merchant acquiring, engagement & payment solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sales/customer service focus.
- A go-getter approach, focused and result-oriented.
- A good understanding of merchant-facing roles & payment solution ecosystems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field sales experience with a proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
- Exposure to startup environments.
- Problem-solving abilities with a strong bias for impact.
- Strong ethics and discretion when dealing with customers.
- A drive for results, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative established targets and metrics.
