About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead our Catastrophe Modelling team in Mumbai. As a key member of our Global Analytics & Advisory team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy and delivery of catastrophe modelling analytics and advisory solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and embed a commercial-delivery focused mindset across all catastrophe modelling teams.
  • Stakeholder Management - govern project deliveries and manage end-client expectations through reporting and performance metrics.
  • Lead change initiatives with stakeholders, demand gathering, and resource planning.
  • Ensure a consistent engagement model between operations and onshore teams.
  • Provide leadership to catastrophe modelling team members, helping them in their capability and career development.
  • Mentor and empower team leaders to develop them for next-level career paths.
  • Build an environment of innovation in the team, conceptualizing new tools and products in line with future needs.
  • Provide management support to Mumbai teams in testing, feedback, and adoption of modernization work and products.
  • Work with process transformation and training leader to identify key areas for development and implementing streamlined automated processes.
Requirements
  • 15+ years of experience in managing large teams and process management, with significant experience in managing catastrophe modelling teams.
  • Leading expertise on the operation of key vendor models and their application for re/insurance clients' needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to own interactions with onshore leaders.
  • Proven track record of managing model adoption and change management process for re/insurers.
  • People-focused, leading by example and creating career paths for everyone.
  • Talent management - ability to attract, grow, and retain key talent.
