About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our renewable energy consulting practice in India and the neighboring countries. As the Associate Director, you will be responsible for spearheading the growth of our business in this region, leveraging your expertise in the renewable energy sector and your ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a business strategy to drive growth in the renewable energy consulting market in India and the neighboring countries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including government officials and private sector leaders, to identify business opportunities and deliver high-quality consulting services.
  • Lead and mentor a team of mid-level and junior resources to deliver projects and achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other team leads across ICF to cross-sell and build offerings spanning the entire energy value chain in the region.
  • Develop and execute large multi-million-dollar pursuits in the clean energy space across the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or economics from a reputable institution.
  • Postgraduate degree in management or engineering desirable.
  • 10+ years of experience with > 8 years' experience in renewable energy and power market analysis and policy. Past consulting experience is a must.
  • 5+ years of project execution experience as a project lead.
  • 5+ years of business development experience, including lead generation, proposal writing, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the renewable energy sector.
  • Industry experience in RE companies will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of power system models will be preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
  • Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of analysts.
