Proposal Specialist Role

This role is designed for individuals who can excel in proposal development and support, enabling business growth for key clients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage proposals to meet client requirements, focusing on delivering high-quality RFP responses.

The primary goal of this position is to provide expert support in proposal management, working closely with the pursuit team to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Activities:
  • Build knowledge of client businesses, services, and strategic priorities to develop effective proposals.
  • Review client RFPs and other materials to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Collaborate with the pursuit team to resolve open issues during the proposal development process.
  • Perform final reviews of proposals to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Assist in developing templates and improving systems for measuring proposal success.
  • Manage content for proposal language databases and extract relevant information based on best practices.
  • Prepare US Investment Consulting proposals (RFP/RFI/DDQ) based on client scope of services.
  • Coordinate full-service proposals (bid management) and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet required SLA/TAT.
  • Document and respond to internal queries, completing proposals in a timely manner.
  • Maintain regular communication with key stakeholders for RFP acknowledgments, knowledge sharing sessions, and analysis discussions.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate or graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in pre-sales or bid management environments.
  • Experience working as part of bid teams in professional services environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
  • Excellent customer service focus and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Advanced business writing skills with outstanding grammar and proofreading/editing abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task are crucial.
  • Good relationship skills and flexibility to work in shifts as per business requirements.
