Proposal Writer Role

This senior-level position requires a skilled proposal writer with extensive experience in crafting compelling US federal government contract proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret and respond to federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
  • Compose and edit proposal content that is clear, concise, and compliant.
  • Collaborate with capture managers, business development teams, and technical experts to gather insights.
  • Develop and maintain compliance matrices to ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
  • Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
  • Maintain a library of past performance, resumes, and reusable proposal content.
  • Proofread, format, and standardize documents for consistency and compliance.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
  • A strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • US citizenship or work authorization required.

Preferred Qualifications include APMP certification or Shipley methodology training, experience supporting proposals across multiple industries, and familiarity with proposal tools.
