Job Title: Contract Governance Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Governance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience in managing contracts, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and mitigating risks.

The ideal candidate will be able to draft, review, and manage contracts, as well as provide legal advice to internal teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.

A key aspect of the job will be to ensure that all contracts are compliant with relevant laws and regulations. This will involve identifying and mitigating risks, and providing guidance on contract management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and building codes
  • Identify and resolve risks or disputes effectively
  • Protect intellectual property, including designs and trademarks
  • Provide legal advice to internal teams
  • Liaise with external counsel for litigation/specialized matters
  • Maintain organized legal records and draft standardized policies
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, and IP laws
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualifications & Experience:
  • LLB/LLM degree from a recognized institution
  • 2-3 years of experience in contract governance, preferably in the real estate industry
