Job Title: Procurement Manager for Government Solutions

We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our government solutions team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing procurement operations, including tender management, contract negotiation, and compliance with government regulations.

About the Role:

This is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of government procurement processes and policies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure government contracts, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end tender management for IT government contracts, including preparation, submission, and follow-up.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with government procurement policies and tender specifications.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and procurement officers.
  • Analyze market opportunities in government IT sector and prepare strategic proposals.
  • Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies in government tenders.
  • Manage documentation, contracts, and legal compliance for government projects.
  • Collaborate with sales, technical, and delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement operations, preferably in government contracting.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and policies.
  • Experience with IT sector tenders, particularly in cybersecurity, data centers, or digital infrastructure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and procurement tools.
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for government contracts.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with major IT vendors (HP, Dell, Microsoft, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Previous experience in B2G (Business to Government) sales.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity solutions and data center technologies.
  • Certification in procurement or project management.
  • Experience with government clients in defense, healthcare, or educational sectors.
