Job Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Director to join our team at Cambridge University Press & Assessment.


The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and sales strategy for the ELT vertical in the assigned territory of Gujarat.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve defined targets and revenue growth for the ELT vertical
  • Manage and retain university and HEI accounts to drive incremental sales revenue
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote our products and services
  • Monitor and control discounts to meet desired GM
  • Track sales and collections, including budget and achievement variance
  • Execute sales plans in alignment with CUP&A India and Vertical strategies
  • Support sales function effectively and ensure sales capability building for the vertical in India

Requirements



  • Master's degree in sales, business management, or related field
  • Years of experience with sound knowledge of Higher Education sector
  • Sales management experience in Higher Education business
  • Experience in managing annual sales budgets and collections of crores or more
  • Proven track record of fuelling business growth
  • Experience of working in a matrix organization
  • Influencing and negotiation skills
  • Sound knowledge/experience on managing large size distributors
  • Planning, strategic initiatives, and strong execution skills
  • Creative initiatives and multitasking capabilities
  • Team/stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across the end-to-end value chain
  • Strategic thinker with problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive thinker, organized, and able to work to timelines and roadmaps
