Category Management Executive

We are seeking a skilled Product Category Manager Professional to oversee and manage product categories, driving sales, profitability, and growth.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a strategic and analytical individual to join Antler Technologies as a Category Management Executive. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and achieve business objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and potential risks.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and ensure timely procurement of quality products.
  • Product Selection: Evaluate and select the right products for the category, ensuring they align with market demand and company objectives.
  • Pricing Strategy: Set competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability and value perception for customers.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, ensure optimal inventory levels, and minimize wastage or overstocking.
  • Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns and strategies to boost category sales.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor category performance metrics, such as sales, margins, and market share, and provide actionable insights for improvement.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and marketing teams to align category goals with overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in category management, procurement, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and consumer behavior.
  • Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Proficiency in using category management software and ERP systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Estimated Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
