Product Category Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Category Manager to lead our Consumer Goods team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding distribution networks, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in category management, with experience in managing large-scale distribution networks, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships with customers, distributors, and sales teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Manage a team of Business Development Officers to identify and acquire new distributor partners, as well as maintain existing relationships.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform product development and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Logistics, and Marketing, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance, adjust strategies as needed, and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in category management or a related field, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, expanding distribution networks, and delivering customer-centric solutions.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex data, develop insights, and make informed business decisions.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Competitive salary: ₹15,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum, depending on experience.
