Job Description:

Active Directory Expert

Seeking a seasoned professional to lead the administration and maintenance of Windows Server environments. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and hybrid identity management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and File Services.
  • Utilize PowerShell for automation and routine administrative tasks.
  • Handle Active Directory replication, Sites Services configuration, and FSMO role management.
  • Support hybrid identity environments including Azure AD and AD Connect.
  • Apply server patching using tools like WSUS, SCCM, or Intune.
  • Monitor and maintain backup solutions including Veeam, Commvault, and Windows Backup.
  • Diagnose and resolve authentication issues related to LDAP, Kerberos, and NTLM.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 3-6 years of experience in Windows Server and Active Directory administration.
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPOs).
  • Exposure to Azure AD and hybrid identity environments.
  • Familiar with patch management and endpoint management tools (WSUS, SCCM, Intune).
  • Basic understanding of backup and recovery solutions.
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
