Job Opportunity

Take on a challenging role as a Windows Server Automation Specialist where you will be responsible for automating the creation and testing of Windows Server templates for virtual machines and physical hardware using Jenkins and Tekton CI/CD pipelines.

  • Automate the installation, upgrade, and configuration of Windows server Operating Systems on-prem and cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell.
  • Streamline manual processes associated with infrastructure deployment via GitOps and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Manage security requirements, performance optimizations, and technical direction for the Windows Server Operating Systems.
  • Provide in-depth engineering support to Operations teams.
  • Collaborate across teams to deploy infrastructure to multiple target environments, including on-prem, plant, and cloud.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows Server OS engineering and automation.
  • A working understanding of Linux tools.
  • Technical certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, MCP are preferred.
Key Skills
  • Working knowledge of Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform.
  • PowerShell scripting expertise.
  • Understanding of advanced Windows tools like IIS and Clustering.
  • Proficiency in one or more high-level languages such as C#, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, Groovy, etc.
  • Maintainability and other software engineering principles.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes, with Openshift experience preferred.
  • Experience with at least one Pipeline tool such as Tekton, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.
  • Understanding of code testing and test-driven development.
  • Knowledge of virtualization and server hardware manageability technologies.
