You will play a pivotal role in promoting international markets as attractive destinations for Indian companies and conglomerates. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with CXO-level leadership, understanding their global expansion objectives, and facilitating investment attraction in coordination with international economic development agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and map potential Indian corporates and conglomerates with interest in overseas investment and expansion.
- Engage with C-suite executives to promote international geographies for business growth.
- Drive lead generation and corporate outreach programs on behalf of international EDAs across multiple sectors and regions.
- Collaborate with global government agencies and EDAs to position their respective geographies effectively.
- Plan and execute sector-specific outreach, B2B meetings, and international business roadshows.
- Support inbound and outbound trade/investment missions, facilitating productive corporate engagements.
- Provide market intelligence and reports on Indian outbound investment trends and sector-specific insights.
- Prepare presentations, industry pitches, and reports aligned with the objectives of our clients.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Education & Experience:
- A graduate or postgraduate degree in Business, Economics, International Relations, or a related field.
- Three to six years of experience in business development, investment promotion, international trade advisory, or market entry consulting.
- Prior exposure to working with international trade bodies, Corporate Banks, investment agencies, chambers of commerce, or consulting firms is advantageous.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Proven ability to manage relationships with CxO-level executives and drive business development.
- Strong capacity to sell countries/regions as investment destinations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of FDI drivers, global trade, and cross-border investment trends.
- Experience in managing corporate outreach, roadshows, and delegation visits.
- A network of Indian corporates, conglomerates, and high-growth enterprises can be beneficial.
- Cross-cultural communication skills and international exposure are highly desirable.
