About the RoleWe are committed to providing a supportive and dynamic work environment where our diverse associates can grow and succeed. As a Strategic Business Growth Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing strong relationships with key decision makers and project facilitators at strategic accounts within assigned geography or industry.
- Negotiating pricing and contracts to deliver value and growth.
- Developing account relationships, identifying opportunities, and capturing the specification for Avient's products at strategic accounts.
- Creating sales plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets that meet short- and long-term objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor of Engineering – Polymer and Chemicals, B.Tech, CIPET, or relevant education.
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in specialty engineering materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
