The MakeMyTrip group has a new strategic business unit, MyPartner, launched in 2020. This business aims to provide seamless inventory and pricing of various travel products across the country. As a result, we have more than Forty-Three Thousand (43k) active travel agent partners on our platform.

We are continuously developing innovative solutions to meet the dynamic needs of our travel agent partners. The role of a Strategic Business Expansion Specialist would require building the MyPartner brand in the mapped market, ensuring maximum spread and depth. The incumbent would identify and onboard potential travel agents, ensure platform adoption, and resolve queries for the onboarded travel agents.

This role involves meeting travel agents across multiple locations, providing expertise, metrics analysis, and recommendations based on industry best practices. The goal is to grow net revenue in the market by developing business plans to achieve revenue goals, maintaining rate competitiveness, and ensuring inventory levels exceed demand.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a Master's degree from a reputed institute and 2 to 6 years of experience in Sales, Travel Trade, Key Account Management, Contracting, or B2B Sales. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 per annum, considering the location and job requirements. We offer a competitive package that includes benefits and opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding and Relationship Management: Connect and engage with travel agents, manage accounts, and drive sustainable performance.
  • Portfolio Management and Driving Growth: Develop business plans to achieve revenue goals, maintain rate competitiveness, and ensure inventory levels exceed demand.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Establish and maintain partner relationships, train travel agents, and build MIS reports.
  • Negotiating: Network, initiate deals, negotiate, and close deals with clients.
