The foundation is a not-for-profit established in 2000 by Dr. Romesh Wadhwani.

Its mission is to accelerate economic development in emerging economies by driving large-scale job creation through entrepreneurship, innovation, and skills development.

We are seeking an experienced Business Leader who can drive large-scale skilling initiatives across India, successfully engaging with stakeholders like government bodies, vocational education & skill development institutes, and employers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the national skilling initiative end-to-end.
  • Drive both the supply & demand side of the skilling ecosystem at scale.
  • Expand and nurture existing as well as new accounts.
  • Ensure beneficiary outcomes and outputs are met consistently.
  • Identify, design, and implement tech-enabled business models.
  • Build and manage high-performing teams with strong leadership skills.
  • Establish and nurture networks of employers, trainers, and mentors to strengthen the ecosystem.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in B2C, education, or skilling ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of the vocational training providers (VTP)/vocational training institutes (VTI) ecosystem and experience working with government agencies.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical rigor.
  • Demonstrated ability in data analytics, attention to detail, and outcome measurement.
  • Proven ability to leverage technology platforms and digital tools for scale.
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated skills in complex problem solving and decision-making trade-offs.
  • Excellent team management and ability to drive teams toward objectives.
  • Open to extensive travel across the country.
  • Solid academic background.
