Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to oversee the entire Order-to-Cash cycle for circulation revenue. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring 100% error-free revenue recognition and supporting business analysis of all risk factors.

The department is comprised of internal sub-functions, including Dealer Interface, Revenue Accounting, Custodian Services, Collection/Recovery, and Business Controls (O2C & R2R). Key responsibilities include:

  • Billing to all Agencies
  • Dispute resolution management with agencies and customers
  • Maintaining proper documentation for existing and new customer codes

Controllership Role:

  • Booking of value-added orders/invoice regarding sponsorship, etc.
  • Reconciliation between Dealer and Finance ledger balances
  • Coordination with auditors
  • Revenue Accounting experience

Banking & MIS Reporting:

  • Managing interface with banks on banking products and clearing collections
  • Monthly reports/Presentations relating to revenue and collections
  • Calculation of Classified, Display, and Canvasser incentives

Legal & Compliances:

  • GST & TDS compliance

Commercial & Cost Control:

  • Exposure to reconciliation of Debtors, Provision for expenses, cost ledger, vendor payment, etc.
  • Exposure to legal Contracts, Barter arrangements, etc.
  • Exposure to Budgeting exercises
  • Exposure to Document Management setup

IT Tools & Technical Skills:

  • Customer Database maintenance
  • Working knowledge in SAP
  • High Knowledge on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI

Education Qualification:

Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant with around 10-12 years of post-qualification experience in accounting in the service industry.
