Financial System Operations Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the stability, scalability, and operational excellence of our accounting and finance platforms. This role is critical in delivering reliable financial applications and data services that meet demanding requirements of accuracy, compliance, and availability.
This includes:
- Ensuring performance, reliability, and uptime of accounting and finance platforms.
- Building automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities.
- Implementing and maintaining comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for accounting applications and data pipelines.
- Leading and participating in on-call rotations, performing root cause analysis, and driving improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
- Establishing and enforcing best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
Requirements include:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in site reliability engineering, devops, or production engineering, ideally supporting financial or mission-critical applications.
- Strong experience with monitoring/observability tools.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations from an operational support perspective.
