Accounting and Payroll Specialist Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Payroll Specialist to process payroll for US-based clients, maintain accurate records of employee compensation, and assist in accounting close procedures.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll according to federal and state regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of employee compensation, benefits, and deductions
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close procedures
  • Prepare reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reports
  • Communicate with teams to ensure timely and compliant deliverables
  • Assist with tax filings and compliance documentation as needed
  • Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in US accounting and payroll (preferred)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks, ADP, Gusto, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP and payroll compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines across time zones
