Job Title: Business Development Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead our Employee Health and Benefits department. This is a key role that will require the ability to develop new business opportunities, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a proven track record of success in managing complex client portfolios.

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and developing strategic plans to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Analyze client portfolios and provide consulting services to manage risks
  • Negotiate better terms with insurers on behalf of clients
  • Maintain 100% client retention through excellent customer service
  • Prepare proposals for client presentations and assist with roadshows
  • Engage with clients for Quarterly/Annual Client Satisfaction Surveys
  • Coordinate with other practices to explore portfolio level penetration
  • Interact with risk insurance markets and source best solutions for clients
  • Ensure timely documentation and policy issuance
  • Renewal tracking and premium payment reminders
  • Provide continuous assistance to clients with claims queries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership traits and experience in leadership roles
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good networking skills
  • Relationship management and communication/presentation skills
Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in the insurance industry or TPA
  • Ability to manage diverse client cultures
