Retail Sales Leadership Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales professional to spearhead our retail sales efforts in the Mumbai region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales, leadership, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic retail sales plans to achieve business targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key retailers, dealers, and distributors for abrasives products
  • Ensure effective product placement, visibility, and merchandising in retail outlets
  • Conduct in-store product demonstrations and awareness programs to enhance customer engagement
  • Monitor secondary sales from distributors to retailers and implement corrective actions
  • Track and manage inventory levels at distributor and retailer points
  • Gather and report competitor activity insights and pricing information
  • Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely product deliveries
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement region-specific campaigns and trade promotions
  • Provide training to retail staff and channel partners on product specifications and selling points
  • Maintain a strong field presence by regularly visiting retail outlets

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in handling sales of automotive, wood coating, and abrasives
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with 2 years in sales management role
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Analytical skills to make data-driven decisions and adjustments to sales strategies
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
