Job Overview

A Guest Relations Executive is responsible for maintaining exceptional customer engagement, ensuring customer satisfaction, and providing outstanding service to guests. This role involves various duties related to guest services, including handling inquiries, resolving complaints, coordinating guest requests, and delivering a superior experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Welcoming and greeting guests in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Providing exceptional customer service to guests throughout their stay
  3. Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and efficiently
  4. Ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes for guests
  5. Coordinating with various departments to fulfill guest needs and requests
  6. Maintaining a clean and tidy reception area
  7. Handling telephone calls and any other forms of communication in a professional manner
  8. Maintaining knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and events to provide accurate information to guests
  9. Assisting in making reservations and managing bookings
  10. Promoting hotel services and facilities to enhance guest experience
  11. Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are in excellent condition
  12. Following all safety and security procedures to create a safe environment for guests

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Guest Relations Executive or in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively
  • Proficiency in using hotel management software and computer systems
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
