Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement corporate strategies aligned with the company's goals and market dynamics in the FMCG sector.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends, consumer behaviors, and new growth opportunities.
- Business Transformation: Oversee the execution of business transformation initiatives, optimizing the product portfolio, distribution channels, and marketing strategies.
- Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive the execution of strategic projects.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder relationships, including investors, key partners, and government agencies, to support business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years' experience in strategic roles within the FMCG, beverage, or related industries.
- Track Record: Proven track record in business growth, market expansion, and leading change initiatives.
- Skillset: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- African Market Knowledge: Ability to navigate the African business environment, with specific knowledge of Zambia's market dynamics and regulatory landscape.
Education:
- Degree: Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Strategy, or a related field (preferred).
Compensation:
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
