Job Summary

We seek an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department's support team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of financial operations.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a portfolio of 8-10 properties with various owners.
  • Coordinate with property accounts payable specialist to authorize invoices for payment processing twice a week.
  • Review monthly deposits and ensure accurate recording.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and audit schedules as required.
  • Generate year-end and month-end reports for each property.
  • Process miscellaneous deposits and reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger monthly.
  • Issue stop payments when necessary and monitor cash balances.
  • Reconcile intercompany accounts and maintain weekly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
