Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations and work on end-to-end process improvement.
  • Perform transactional activities of operational procurement (spot buying/PR to PO/vendor master data/helpdesk services).
  • Oversee day-to-day procurement operations within the function, ensuring efficient handling of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier management.
  • Assure timely and accurate processing of procurement requests from initiation through to order fulfillment.
  • Provide reporting expertise to extract reports as per business requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for deliveries and queries related to POs created.
  • Cooperate with internal departments and stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and ensure service delivery meets expectations.
  • Conduct timely communication upon inquiries from internal/external customers/concerned groups.
  • Follow up-to-date operational procedures and adhere to standardized processes.
  • Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders.
  • Timely identify potential issues and make appropriate escalations.
  • Maintain operational compliance with all regulatory, internal, and external guidelines and support audit activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related field preferred.
  • Business experience with 3+ years of indirect spend procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and SAP module knowledge.
  • Desirable working experience in a Shared Services Center procurement procedures.
