About the Role


As a Risk Investigations Manager at Amazon Dev Center India - Hyderabad, you will be responsible for leading a team of Investigation specialists who investigate customer accounts to protect Amazon from policy misuse. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes to prevent abuse and ensure a safe and secure transaction experience for customers.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a team of Investigation specialists to investigate customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on processes, tools, and high-judgment decisions
  • Develop and implement processes to prevent abuse and ensure a safe and secure transaction experience for customers
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement processes to prevent abuse and ensure a safe and secure transaction experience for customers
  • Participate in strategic planning, project road mapping activities, and identify trends in team performance to recommend and implement changes to constantly raise performance levels
  • Expected to participate in projects that involve one or more teams within the organization and address issues outside the normal areas of responsibility or expertise required by their process

Requirements



  • 4+ years of operational and/or retail management experience
  • 2+ years of team management experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications (esp. MS Excel, Word) at an advanced level
  • Experience with operations, risk, and fraud investigations is preferred
  • Experience with six sigma tools and Lean techniques is preferred
