Main Responsibilities

As an E-commerce Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our online retail business. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities in the Indian eCommerce landscape.
  • Platform Management: Keep updating the Catalog in the Magento 2 eCommerce platform and oversee product listings on popular Indian eCommerce third-party platforms.
  • Campaigns and Content Creation: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create localized content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, that resonate with the Indian audience.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Monitor and enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and culturally appropriate experience from browsing to purchase and post-sales support.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local eCommerce partners and affiliates to expand product visibility and reach.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key eCommerce metrics, including conversion rates, traffic sources, and revenue growth, providing regular reports to the management team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in eCommerce operations, preferably within the Indian market.
  • Languages: Proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Indian eCommerce platforms, familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and eCommerce analytics tools, exceptional attention to detail, project management skills, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
