Main Responsibilities

As an E-commerce Specialist, you will create and implement strategies to increase online sales. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to the company's website presence.

You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans, ensuring the success of an online retail business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities in the Indian eCommerce landscape.
  • Platform Management: Keep updating the Catalog in the Magento 2 eCommerce platform. Oversee and optimize product listings on popular Indian eCommerce third-party platforms.
  • Campaigns and Content Creation: Collaborate with the digital marketing team to create localized content, including product descriptions, images, and videos, that resonate with the Indian audience.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Monitor and enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and culturally appropriate experience from browsing to purchase and post-sales support.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local eCommerce partners and affiliates to expand product visibility and reach.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key eCommerce metrics, including conversion rates, traffic sources, and revenue growth, providing regular reports to the management team.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on Indian eCommerce regulations, consumer protection laws, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in eCommerce operations, preferably within the Indian market.
  • Languages: Proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
  • Skills required:
    • Strong knowledge of Indian eCommerce platforms.
    • Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and eCommerce analytics tools.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.
    • Cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of the Indian consumer behavior.
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
