Job Summary

As a Liaison Manager, you will be responsible for handling various corporate affairs and government liaison functions. This includes managing relationships with state and central government authorities, industries department, forest and environment authorities, pollution control board, labour department, and handling land acquisition for the project.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing team members, counseling, and guidance.
  • Creating and sustaining a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members.
  • Taking escalations and undertaking heat checks for each resolved call and logging the case.
  • Leading, mentoring & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of individual & group targets.
Functional Responsibilities:
  • Corporate Affairs: Handling all matters pertaining to new projects, including commercial, PR & relationship management, statutory compliance management, cost management & MIS, industrial laws, site management & general administrative matters.
  • Government Liaison: Obtaining NOC / Registrations / Approvals / Licenses from respective State Punjab & Central Govt. / Semi-govt. bodies / local authorities and responsible for statutory compliance management.
  • Imports / Exports: Handling all import and export related matters, including customs, excise, and foreign collaboration.
  • Interaction with Trade and Industry Associations & Press: Maintaining liaison with trade and industry associations, press, and other external stakeholders.
  • Customs / Excise: Handling all customs and excise related matters, including imports, exports, and customs clearances.
  • Foreign Collaboration: Handling all foreign collaboration related matters, including joint ventures, partnerships, and other business collaborations.
  • Lobbying through Trade and Industry Associations: Representing the company's interests through lobbying efforts with trade and industry associations.
Requirements:
  • Should be graduate in any stream.
  • Should have good exposure in Liaison / Corporate Affairs.
Public Relations:
  • Day to day corporate affairs matters, liaison with local as well as state-level politicians.
  • PR with District, Punjab State, and Central Govt. Officials and Local Media.
