Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prominent handling of commercial, public relations and relationship management, statutory compliance management, cost management & MIS, industrial laws, site management & general administrative matters pertaining to the new project.
  • Procurement of NOC / Registrations / Approvals / Licenses from respective State Punjab & Central Govt. / Semi-govt. bodies / local authorities and responsible for Statutory Compliance Management.
  • Maintenance of liaison with state and central government authorities, industries department, forest and environment authorities, pollution control board, labour department.
  • Handling land acquisition for the project, conversion, mutation and allied matters.
  • Taking up major policy issues for group companies through industry associations.
  • Representation of the company in various meetings, conferences/seminars organized by different industry associations such as Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), FICCI, ASSOCHAM, FIMI, and other business associations.
Corporate Affairs & Relationship Management
  • Interface with the central and Punjab state governments as an umbilical cord with ministries, bureaucracy, and corporate.
  • Follow-up and ensure early approvals of company's proposal sent to various central government ministries i.e. Ministry of Coal, Ministry of Mines, Ministry of Steel, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Power, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Federation of Indian Mineral Industries, & other government departments.
Team Management
  • Management of team members, counselling, and guidance.
  • Creation and sustenance of a dynamic environment that fosters development opportunities and motivates high performance amongst team members.
  • Escalation and undertaking heat checks for each resolved call and logging the case.
  • Leadership, mentoring & monitoring the performance of team members to ensure efficiency in process operations and meeting of individual & group targets.

Requirements
  • Graduate in any stream required.
  • Good exposure in liaison/corporate affairs preferred.
Public Relations
  • Day-to-day corporate affairs matters, liaison with local as well as state-level politicians.
  • PR with district, Punjab state, and central government officials and local media.
