JLL is seeking a skilled Assistant Facility Manager to oversee soft services for our clients' facilities.

As the Assistant Facility Manager - Soft Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and seamless delivery of soft services, including janitorial services, landscaping, pest control, waste management, catering, and other related operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Facility Manager in overseeing and managing all soft service operations within the facility.
  • Coordinate and supervise the activities of soft service vendors, including janitorial service providers, landscapers, pest control companies, waste management teams, and catering services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure service levels, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure that soft services are delivered according to established standards and specifications.
  • Implement and maintain effective processes and procedures to improve the efficiency of soft service operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for soft services, ensuring costs are controlled and aligned with agreed-upon standards.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of service-related policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other facility management team members and stakeholders to meet client requirements and enhance overall operational performance.
  • Provide input and recommendations on soft service improvements and innovations to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to discuss service performance, address concerns, and identify opportunities for service enhancements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to soft services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations in soft service activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Assistant Facility Manager or in a similar role, preferably with a focus on soft services.
  • Strong knowledge of soft service operations, including janitorial services, landscaping, catering, waste management, and pest control.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including MS Office Suite and facility management software.
  • Knowledge of applicable safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
