The AVP - Facilities Operations Manager is a key role in our Corporate Services team, responsible for supporting end-to-end facilities operations, including design and construction project management, physical operations, and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Supports the management of global facilities operations, including design and construction project management, physical operations, and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
- Responsible for executing, maintaining, and reporting on various global functions supporting Citi's corporate realty services (CRS).
- Manages large volumes of data, required to review, validate, and update the monthly operating review (MOR) data input and reports.
- Maintains high-level data quality by validating against global benchmarks and historical trends, clarifying and correcting data with regional colleagues' assistance.
- Routinely updates dashboards for senior management.
- Adheres to existing processes for data collection, management, and reporting.
- Develops and recommends improvements for existing processes and reporting functions.
- Assists the team in the management and maintenance of standards, procedures, and policy documents.
- Executes internal and external communication strategies, developing, writing, and editing stories, blog posts, tweets, and press releases related to sustainability.
- Liaises closely and communicates effectively with CRS senior management, regional, and global colleagues.
- Supports various functions and processes, such as Energy Star Certifications, facility evaluations, incident reporting, and tracking.
- Assists with creation/modification of presentations, spreadsheets, and other various documents.
- Tracks program documentation and conducts follow-ups to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Maintains information for the department website and requests timely updates from vendors as requested, communicating to the global team on updates per pre-set schedule.
- Facilitates and serves as lead coordinator for various training sessions.
- Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Proactive leadership and motivational skills.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven influencing and relationship management skills.
- Experience in a cross-cultural team environment.
- Environment Lease-related US GAAP knowledge (preferable but not necessary).
- Ability to plan, organize, and schedule duties to meet processing deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks with sensitivity to senior management, time frames, and regulatory-driven deliverables.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry.
- Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
