Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • To convert experienced underwriting knowledge into training materials, playbooks, and quality standards that enable community reviewers to learn and improve their skills.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Design and deliver training programs to teach underwriting basics to non-specialists, covering topics such as FOIR/DTI, LTV, income stability, bureau interpretation, documentation hygiene, fraud red flags, and policy exceptions.
  • Train anchors to curate AI outputs by reviewing model responses, applying rules, correcting decisions, adding reason codes, and documenting edge cases.
  • Create quality rubrics, acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines to ensure high-quality reviews.
  • Define data needs from cases, capture missing rules/thresholds, and draft data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.
  • Champion ethics and privacy by ensuring PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.
Requirements
  • 4-8 years of experience in retail/home-loan underwriting with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
  • Proven training or mentorship experience, comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
  • Strong grasp of calculations and documents, including FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
  • Fluent in English and Telugu.
