Job Title: Channel Relationship Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Channel Relationship Manager to join our team at DBS Bank. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of sales processes and be able to drive liabilities sales through new-to-bank acquisition of liabilities clients.

  1. Actively source for prospects via cold calling, personal network, and partners/channels' network.
  2. Drive liabilities sales through NTB acquisition of liabilities clients for operating accounts, term deposits, and other transaction banking products in line with the targets set out.
  3. Keep yourself updated on various offerings available in the network.
  4. Organize marketing activities to get sources of lead generation and new business.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of sales process through preferably prior sales experience of 2-3 years.
  • Prior liabilities, cash management, trade, and foreign exchange selling experience is desirable.

Education/Preferred Qualifications:

  • A graduate or equivalent degree (with experience/understanding of banking and sales).
  • Computer proficiency (acquaintance with internet and MS Office) with relevant experience of selling in banking/NBFC financial products.

  • Good technical knowledge of cash management/transaction banking business.

  • Good customer and relationship management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Good problem-solving, planning & organizing skills.

Technical Competencies:

  • Basic understanding of trade and foreign exchange banking products and associated technology platforms and operational procedures.
  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines on banking issued by MAS and by RBI (local regulations in India) and local laws and regulations that impact businesses in general.
