Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our team. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and managing a high-performing team of Relationship Managers, and expanding our presence with clients in Dubai and other offshore locations across a diverse range of investment products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of achieving sales targets, excellent leadership and team management skills, and the ability to drive strategic decisions through complex business information analysis.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Achieve the revenue targets set for the Relationship Team by broking across Equity, Derivatives, Commodity, and Currency, as well as actively cross-selling products like Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIFs to existing acquired clients from Dubai and other offshore locations.
  • Lead the hiring and training of the Relationship team, focusing on enhancing their product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Improve and maintain the client activity ratio by ensuring clients are actively engaged across all investment segments.
  • Coordinate effectively with different internal teams to ensure seamless operations and client service.
  • Demonstrate strong channel management skills to optimize client acquisition and service delivery.
  • Function as a Team Leader, capable of hiring and training new Relationship Managers.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to interpret complex business information and drive strategic decisions.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Relationship Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring target achievement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 8+ years of experience in sales of investment products, specifically in Equity Stock Broking, Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIFs.
  • Strong domain knowledge of products like Equity Stock Broking, PMS, Mutual Funds, AIF, and Bonds.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on coaching and development.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to interpret business data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and manage internal collaborations.
  • Experience in client management, particularly from Dubai and other offshore locations, is highly desirable.
