About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Senior / Business Development Manager to lead revenue growth for our innovative IT software products and digital solutions. You'll be a key leader in the sales function, responsible for the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting to closure, focusing on the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector.

This role requires a proven track record of driving growth, excellent market connections, and the ability to build strong relationships with CXO-level executives. Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Strategy:

- Lead and manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial prospecting and lead generation to negotiation and successful deal closure.

- Be responsible for achieving and exceeding assigned sales targets for IT software products and digital solutions within your designated region.

- Develop and implement a robust and replicable sales framework that can be scaled across the organization.

Market & Client Engagement:

- Leverage excellent market connections to identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the BFSI vertical.

- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including Bank CISO/CTO, CXOs, and other decision-makers at various levels within client organizations.

- Understand customer needs and articulate the value proposition of Kiya.ai's complex banking products and digital solutions.

Product & Domain Expertise:

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of technology solutions, sales best practices, and the latest market trends in the IT industry, specifically within BFSI.

- Focus on selling solutions related to Core Banking, Lending, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Mobile Banking, Digital Banking, and other relevant financial technology products.

- Possess prior experience in successfully selling complex software solutions, preferably banking & Support:

- Identify sales support requirements and collaborate effectively with the marketing team to enhance the inbound lead funnel and improve sales enablement.

- Provide feedback from the market to product and development teams to ensure continuous product improvement and market fit.

Communication & Negotiation:

- Utilize excellent listening, English written, and verbal communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals and achieve win-win outcomes.

- Possess a basic understanding of the tender process in the BFSI sector.

What You Bring

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Experience: Proven experience driving growth for IT Software Products / Digital Solutions / Software Solutions in a respective region for at least 5 years. Overall experience should align with a Senior / Business Development Manager leadership role.

Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in IT Software Product sales.

Communication: Excellent listening, English written, and communication skills.

Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to close/win deals.

Leadership: Experience handling a team and being responsible for achieving targets.

Domain Knowledge: Solid domain knowledge in BFSI, including understanding of Core Banking solutions, Lending, Anti-Money Laundering, Mobile Banking, Digital Banking, etc.

Complex Sales: Prior experience in selling complex solutions, preferably banking Strong relationships with Bank CISO/CTO, CXOs, and other key decision-makers.

Desired Soft Skills

- Proven client-facing experience.

- Experience in International Sales (a plus).

- Ability to build strong relationships with customers at various levels.

- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven.
