Proposal Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Sales Enablement team.

This hybrid role will be based in India and requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide proposals support and independently manage high-quality RFP responses for Mercer's US Wealth business.
  • Develop knowledge of: the Wealth business, service offerings and strategic priorities.
  • Review RFPs and client material to gain complete understanding of client requirements.
  • Work closely with the pursuit team to resolve open items during proposal development.
  • Perform final reviews of proposals drafts.
  • Assist with template development, improved systems and processes for measuring RFP success.
  • Carry out content management activities, including collecting and updating proposal language database content.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate or Graduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics preferred. Other postgraduate degrees considered.
  • 5-8 years experience in pre-sales/bid management environment.
  • Experience working as part of bid teams in professional services environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Exceptional customer service focus.
  • Advanced business writing ability with outstanding grammar and proofreading/editing skills.
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
