Proposal Manager / Senior Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a Proposal Manager or Senior Manager to lead our proposal team and create, lead, and complete business proposals for our Pressure Management Business unit. This role will work closely with the sales, engineering, procurement, quality, and project teams to prepare competitive bid documents.

  • Lead the proposal team and manage project bids for natural gas, power, O&G industry, hydrogen, and compressed bio-gas.
  • Review quotation timelines and status with the sales team.
  • Evaluate and ensure timely preparation of proposals with competitive costs and quality.
  • Analyze previous submitted similar bids and on-hand bids to inform pricing strategies.
  • Understand project technical and commercial specifications and scope.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement vital proposal procedures and governance.
  • Closely work with internal teams to prepare the best competitive bid documents.
  • Maintain a log of all project bids.
  • Define complete project scope for natural gas pressure reducing skids to support business goals in agreement with senior management during pre-bid and bidding stages.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Engineering, preferably mechanical stream, with 10-15 years of experience in proposal management and complete project cost estimation.
  • Technical proficiency and experience on bid cost estimation skids, regulators, valves, and natural gas assemblies.
  • High level of integrity and trust.
  • Good command of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong communications, negotiation, and people management skills.
  • Basic finance and costing knowledge is preferred.
