Federal Government Proposal Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer with experience in developing compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposals for US federal opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in US government RFPs, the ability to work collaboratively with capture teams, SMEs, and leadership, and familiarity with the federal procurement process.
- Review and interpret federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders.
- Write and edit proposal content that is clear, persuasive, and compliant.
- Collaborate with capture managers, business development, and technical experts to gather inputs.
- Create and maintain compliance matrices and ensure all submissions meet solicitation requirements.
- Manage the proposal development lifecycle, including reviews, deadlines, and final submission.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience writing proposals for US federal government contracts.
- Strong understanding of the federal acquisition process (FAR/DFAR).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
