Process and Performance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Process and Performance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for independently executing the performance of proposal and contract process design in the area of Thermal engineering for Supercritical Boiler projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all Thermal Engineering functions, including design of steam generator systems, generation of data sheets and drawings for proposal and contract activities.
  • Provide technical training support to commissioning at site and deliver presentations to ensure successful contract closure.
  • Prepare instructions and supplemental information for lower-level engineers and develop GA draw, process diagram, data sheets, and provide inputs for equipment and raw material estimation.
  • Establish and implement engineering philosophies, parameters, and procedures governing the design of process controls, including compliance with national and international codes.
  • Assist less experienced engineers and technicians on specific technical problems and conduct basic economic studies for bid purposes.
  • Participate in various internal meetings and identify and address changes that impact contract margin.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Power Plant Engineering.
  • Three to five years of experience in fossil fuel steam generators involving product thermal design.
  • Knowledge of erection, commissioning, and detail thermal engineering is essential.
  • Specific experience in Utility Boiler Thermal engineering is highly desirable.
